We feel unbelievably honored to have been chosen as the 2014 Specchio Foundation's Ambassadors. As ambassadors, we were offered a substantial money award along with mentoring support and the opportunity to speak at the Specchio Foundation's annual dinner event.
We would like to give a big thank you to the Specchio Foundation for selecting us. They have made a huge impact on us, the Bambakofi students and many others. Their contribution alone will support one student through all four years of secondary school.

Trot 4 Taaluma Run and Fundraiser
We are proud to announce that we raised over $4,500 through the Trot 4 Taaluma fundraiser. We organized a 5k run all the way over in Lugano, Switzerland. The students studying here created Crowdrise fundraising pages in order to raise money leading up to their big run. We had the Virginia Tech students back in the United States as extra support. The run was a great success... and the Swiss Alps as a back drop didn't hurt to motivate us. We hope to continue the Trot 4 Taaluma fundraiser annually. Thank you to all those who donated.
Co-founder Valerie Hengemuhle is challenging herself to see if she can stick her to New Year's resolution by running/walking 2,015 miles in 2015. Support her by donating here!

These letters included their likes, favorite activities, and details about their lives so the students across the world can learn about each other.
